Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Unsaid iPhone app and website. By using Unsaid, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Unsaid.
“Unsaid,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean John Chimaobi.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. Unsaid is not intended for children. The initial release is offered through the United States App Store; availability may change.
What Unsaid provides
Unsaid is a communication-rehearsal tool. It provides guided and custom scenarios, an AI practice partner, generated voice replies, transcripts, and feedback intended to help you prepare for real-world conversations.
Unsaid does not provide therapy, medical or mental-health care, legal advice, financial advice, emergency help, or professional diagnosis. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or different from how a real person would respond. Do not treat output as a fact about another person or as a substitute for qualified professional advice.
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service. Do not rely on Unsaid for urgent help.
Your account
Unsaid uses Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for controlling access to your Apple Account and device. Do not share authentication codes or attempt to access another person’s Unsaid account or history.
You may sign out or delete your account in Settings. Signing out keeps local practice history on the device. Account deletion revokes the Unsaid sign-in connection and removes supported local and private-iCloud history, but it does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions separately through Apple.
Acceptable use
Use Unsaid only for lawful, personal communication practice. You must not use it to:
• threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, shame, or coerce another person;
• generate or facilitate illegal activity, credible violence, self-harm instructions, hate, targeted harassment, or sexual content involving minors;
• impersonate a real person, clone a voice, or create deceptive content;
• submit private information about another person without a legitimate reason and appropriate permission;
• bypass safety filters, quotas, authentication, purchase checks, or security controls;
• probe, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or misuse the app, website, backend, or provider services;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Unsaid or its output without written permission.
We may refuse, limit, or end a practice, suspend access, or preserve limited evidence when reasonably necessary to protect people, enforce these terms, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
Your content
You keep ownership of the text you enter and the practice history stored for you. You grant Unsaid and its service providers a limited right to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the requested service, comply with law, and enforce these terms.
Only submit content you have the right to use. Leave out names and private details that are not needed for practice. You are responsible for how you use AI output and for the real-world decisions you make after a practice.
Unsaid content and intellectual property
Unsaid, including its brand, artwork, scenario library, interface, software, and documentation, is owned by [LEGAL OWNER NAME] or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Unsaid in accordance with the app’s intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Unsaid or its underlying systems.
Subscriptions and voice minutes
Unsaid may offer free access and an auto-renewable Unsaid+ subscription.
• Free access currently includes six voice minutes per calendar month.
• Unsaid+ currently includes 45 voice minutes per calendar month, custom scenarios, challenging response styles, and the complete feedback experience.
• Voice minutes do not roll over. A practice may also have a maximum duration.
• Monthly and annual subscriptions unlock the same Unsaid+ benefits and differ by billing period.
• Prices and currencies are shown by the App Store before purchase and may vary by region or change for future billing periods as permitted by Apple.
• An introductory seven-day trial is shown only when Apple reports that you are eligible.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Apple handles billing, cancellation, refunds, and renewal. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Restore Purchases reconnects eligible access but does not recreate local practice history unless that history remains on the device or in enabled private iCloud backup.
Except where law requires otherwise, unused voice minutes and partial billing periods are not refundable by Unsaid. Apple’s refund rules and process apply to App Store purchases.
Availability and changes
AI and voice features require a compatible iPhone, supported on-device speech recognition, and an internet connection for online processing. Service providers may experience outages or change their systems. Unsaid may modify features, limits, scenarios, voices, or availability to maintain safety, security, quality, legal compliance, or sustainable operation. We will not knowingly remove paid access during an active entitlement except where necessary for misuse, law, fraud, or service security.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular AI reply, a particular score, or that practice will achieve a real-world outcome.
Third-party services
Unsaid relies on Apple, Convex, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, RevenueCat, OneSignal, and other infrastructure providers. Their services and terms may affect availability and processing. Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a different licensed-application agreement is presented through Apple. These Terms supplement Apple’s agreement and do not reduce rights that cannot legally be waived.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Unsaid except as required by its platform terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms between you and John Chimaobi.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unsaid is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [LEGAL OWNER NAME] and its affiliates, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of opportunity, emotional distress, or decisions made based on AI output.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to Unsaid will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Unsaid during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be limited.
Termination
You may stop using Unsaid at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when you materially violate these terms, create a safety or security risk, commit fraud, misuse providers, or when required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply.
Before filing a formal claim, please email thechillguy600@gmail.com with a short description so we can try to resolve it informally. This paragraph does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a consumer remedy that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Unsaid changes. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, except where law requires express consent.
